10 am-2 pm: Nature Center Arts and Crafts: Calling all kids, Join park staff for creative fun. In Pokey's honor. We will be making box turtle crafts. All ages.
10:30 am: Turtle Obstacle Course: Put on a turtle shell and see how fast you can move. Remember to wear your play clothes! Ages 4-8.
11:30 am: Ranger Reads: Staff will read Box Turtle at Long Pond a day in the life of a wild box turtle.Ages 3 and older.
12:30 pm: Find Pokey a Worm: Pokey can't eat cake so let's help find his favorite food, WORMS! Ages 4 and older.
1:30 pm: Pokey Dance Competition: Pokey gets excited when he sees his favorite foods. Can you move like Pokey? Ages 9 days to 999 years.
